DSEAR for Engineers and Supervisors (2.5 hours)
An interactive, broad overview of DSEAR awareness with case studies, industry examples and group discussion. This introductory course should give delegates a good overview to be informed on the complexities of DSEAR and HAC, and a good foundation for more in depth courses.
Gain an appreciation of the background to DSEAR and Hazardous Area Classification
Understand how a DSEAR risk assessment should be conducted, and why.
Understand how hazardous area classification is developed and learn about the different zoning designations and what they mean.
Learn about different types of ignition sources that need to be controlled in hazardous areas.
Understand the impact of DSEAR and HAC on site operations and what the key controls are.
Talk through some key common DSEAR examples to understand good practices for controlling risks.

This introductory course should give operations delegates a good basic summary to be informed on the operations implications of DSEAR and HAC and the part operations teams play in maintaining a safe workplace.

Learn about different types of ignition sources that need to be controlled in hazardous areas.

100% fee refund more than 2 months before course start date
50% fee refund more than 2 weeks before course start date
No fee refund within 2 weeks of training course.
No refund for late notice cancellations of attendance. Depending on course attendance numbers we may allow transfer of course booking to an alternative training date.
VAT applicable on all fees.
Invoice for fees will be issued at time of booking, to be paid 2 weeks prior to training course.
Invite to training meeting will be issued 2 weeks prior to course start date.
